I was curious what OOC games have been scheduled already by teams in the LSA. I know UNT is making a road trip to Cali to play Chapman, UCLA, and someone else...

Tech is traveling to Cal. as well to play San Diego State, Chapman and UCSD... and yes, in that order.

SMU will be traveling to the St. Louis area to play SWMS, Lindenwood, and Colorado. Should be one heck of a time.

Texas A&M is heading to Atlanta in February to play in the Southern Shooout with 3 other fine teams, should be a great tourney:

Florida State
Georgia Tech- host
Michigan State
and of course TAMU

When exactly would the Southern Shootout be in February?

As Ken said earlier... that would be Atlanta, GA Brent.

No, no. I said "When", not "where". I know that Texas A&M traditionally has its high school tourney in February, so I was just wondering if they would be heading out to Atlanta right after that high school tourney. That was why I asked "when."

My mistake Brent. End of February, 2006. Not sure the exact weekend. I'm sure we will know soon as the SELC meeting is this weekend in Atlanta. Schedules should be out soon.

I hope you guys get a chance to play at Lindenwood. Their home field is the school's football stadium. They play on the Nexturf. That stuff was sweet. Like running on feathers. If you have shin splints, you won't feel them this game.

Southern Shootout is scheduled for Feb 24-26, 2006 in Atlanta, Ga at Georgia Tech. That should satisfy both areas of concern.
