Anyone start practice or playing yet?

Iowa had its first practice this week. Sounds like a decent amount of freshmen came out plus Kevin told me they have a new assistant coach who will be helping out this year who used to play at Hobart back in the 80s.

The Annual CyHawk Classic (Iowa-Iowa State) game is tomorrow before the football game. Always a good game where everyone plays although 2 of the past 3 years have gone to OT.

I will post a score once I hear more.

Anything else going on with any other teams?

Some OOC games to report for us:

USD 11
Minnesota-Moorhead 6

USD 7
NDSU 5

From what I was told (I couldn't be in Fargo today) the NDSU game was very hard hitting and physical, and was a very close contest from start to finish with my team scoring twice in the 4th quarter to come from behind and win.

Wash U. 14
Missouri State 9

Pretty good game for the most part. Wash U. Dominated the 3rd quarter which was the clearly deciding factor as the rest of the game was fairly closely played. Thanks to those guys for hosting us!

Sept., MU over KU 7-5. KU and MU were both short on people. By the end of the game KU had 1 line of attack and 1 line of midfield. MU was missing Brad Brown, Mark Wolf, and Hogan.

Sept. 30, KU over KSU 18-7. KU had 2 goals called back for somewhat questionable calls, and had a few shots hit 2 or more pipes but bounce out.

Heading to Vanderbilt in 2 weeks along with Lindenwood and Illinois. Miami of Ohio, Vanderbilt, Tennessee, Wake Forest, and Emory will complete the brackets.
