Texas A&M has added a new coach to their staff for the 2005-2006 season. Chris Pike an attackman from 98-2002, Texas A&M's all time scoring leader, three time USL-MDIA All-American, and record holder for goals in a single MDIA National Tourney Game will rejoin the Texas A&M Lacrosse team now as an assistant coach along with current head Coach Tony Scazzero and assistant coach Chris Park.
Coach Pike will coach the attackman and assist Coach Scazzero with offensive game planning and strategy, as well as direct the Man Up Unit.
"The addition of Chris Pike to our coaching staff is a huge bonus to our program. Pike's resume is truley outstanding both in Texas and on a National Level. With another young talented recruiting class this year we will look to Pike to give guidance and coach our new players on how to run the A&M Offensive system at the highest level. If anyone knows how to reap the rewards from our offensive scheme, it is Pike, our all time scoring leader," commented Coach Scazzero on the addition of Pike.
Texas A&M Lacrosse will begin practice on September 7th.
