I think this is hard to determine at this point.
Midfield - A&M- young, but stacked
Attack - A&M - young, but stacked, but I'm not sure who is returning for UT and Tech
Defense - Tech has a great Goalie, Texas I believe has a great Goalie, but I'm not really sure if there any standouts at pole for each of these teams. A&M has some solid poles with DeSpain and Dufour.
Somebody feel free to chime in and give some information the defense in this league.

UH has a pretty solid line of D.
Fawaz, Daniel Cook, Joe Mauer or Josh Taylor

I'm thinking we'll find out the answer to this question come April or so...

Attack: UT, with all their attack returning including Eric Zissman (AA last year) it may be difficult to find a more talented starting attack in the LSA.
Middie: Both A&M and UT have young players that are expected to step up and fill some big shoes. Don't underestimate TT middies though, they have several returning starters that should make a big difference for Tech. Overall. toss up between UT, TAMU, and TT.
Defense: Both Tech and UT return solid goalies, Zach Kurweil for Tech and Garret Cox for UT. But, both teams are reloading their defenses, so it will be a draw between the two excellent shot stoppers. I am not sure if it is fair to make a decision until at least the end of Feb. When both teams have played quality teams.
So, in answer to your question, I don't think you can pick a Starting Lineup that is siignificantly better than any other teams. But the three top contestants for the best lineup are the usual suspects (TT,UT, and TAMU)
Only time will tell...

Fawaz is good...but should have stayed at A&M, he would get more attention.
Was Texas attack really all that good? I always assumed that the midfield was the strength and the attack just benefited from that.
Either way I guess you can't argue with an AA. Somebody from UT tell me if McShane is playing for ya'll.

Just to clarify, as for Tech's D we only lost one pole this last year and we did have a good freshman/trnsfer class of D also. But really thats all I can tell you, not real sure about UTs D. I just won't call it "reloading," but I am bais to a point

Considering Tech beat A&M at the Arlington tournie...
I'm gonna have to say if they played Benji more, Tech's midi line would be unstoppable!
But this is also coming from a guy who goes to SFA...
