Scheduling of 2006 PNCLL Games

PNCLL President Josh Barbour has informed the member teams, through their official contacts, that the league has adopted a new process for the scheduling of conference games. Here is the text of Josh's e-mail dated Aug 12th:
"As you may know, the PNCLL AGM is scheduled for September 24th, 2005 in Tacoma.
As you also may know, the PNCLL (and most other lacrosse organizations) are experiencing a referee shortage. To combat the referee shortage and ensure that all scheduled 2006 games get qualified referees, the PNCLL will adopt a new scheduling process for 2005. This new process will also greatly reduce the cost of referee travel and therefore keep the game fees reasonable.
The PNCLL Executive Board has appointed a Game Scheduler. The Game Scheduler will be responsible for scheduling all PNCLL A and B Division games (instead of having representatives from each team create their own schedules at the league meeting, as in years' past). The 2005 Game Scheduler will be David Schmitz.
Each team will still responsible for creating their own OOC schedule. Your OOC schedule must be complete before the AGM on Sept. 24th. Each team must submit their OOC schedule (both home and away) and dates they can not travel/host games (i.e. Finals week, Spring Break, etc.).
The 2006 PNCLL schedule will be released by October 24th, 2005. After October 24th, teams will then be allowed to schedule PNCLL inter-divsional games (i.e. an A team playing a B team).
Thank you and see you in September."
