Here is the schedule I came up with... I figure if we get everyone out there we will just play through. Then, based on records and goals against we will seed everyone for the Sunday finale. Please see the other thread for directions etc.... Bring your money to the field and during check in we will collect the money.

Saturday, July 16th

Games will be 20 minute, running halves, 1 TO per half, penalties are time and a half, 5 poles allowed
10:00am
Field 1- Ga Tech vs Tenn
Field 2- Florida vs UGA

11:00am
Field 1- Ga Tech vs Auburn
Field 2- UGA vs Tenn

12:00pm
Field 1- Auburn vs Florida

1:30pm
Field 1- Ga Tech vs UGA
Field 2- Florida vs Tenn

2:30pm
Field 2- Auburn vs Tenn

3:30pm
Field 1- Ga Tech vs Florida
Field 2- UGA vs Auburn

Sunday, July 17
Games will be 25 minutes, running halves, 1 TO per half, penalties are time and a half, 5 poles allowed
10:00am
Field 1- #5vs #4 seed

11:00am
Field 1- #2 seed vs #3 seed
Field 2- #1 seed vs #4/#5 winner

12:30pm- Finals!

I would suggest bringing something to snack on and WATER! There are some fast food places nearby if you desire.

The afternoon times may get bumped up if people just want to keep playing.

I will have adult beverages contained in silver circular canisters on site for after the games for some relaxing before night activities. Still working on a night locale.

Ken I take issue with a few things here....

1) the spelling of AUBURN (Aubrun)
2) UFs preferential treatment in the schedule. Is that last years winners bennefits or what?

Have a good tournament all....

oooooh, snap!

Here is the Pong schedule I came up with to play on the infamous astroturf table... The night times may get bumped up if people just want to keep playing. I doubt we'll actually have the teams to play, so we'll probably just scrap it and play as long as people want. Directions to my house will be distributed Saturday.

Saturday, July 16th

Check-In Time TBA (After the night locale but before UF hits Oasis, which I imagine will be their hotel for the weekend, and the rest of us hit the bars)

Games will be best of 3 10-cup games, with fairly normal rules which will be posted to avoid confusion, penalties are one cup, 5 poles allowed

Play-in game
Florida vs. UGA

Semifinals:

Game 1
Ga Tech vs. Tenn

Game 2
Auburn vs. winner of Play-in

Consolation and Finals:
loser of Game 1 vs. loser of Game 2
winner of Game 1 vs. winner of Game 2

We might be able to snag some of Ken's shiny barrels of fun, otherwise we'll make a run for a pallet of some cheap beverage.

ssshhh, don't tell anyone that I am out for AU in every case. 2 teams had to take the brunt of the schedule and I can assure you it was not going to be GT  I did the best I could, sorry

Either way its a few games in a short day for everyone. Games should run 45 minutes so there are rests in between. As you remember from last year this should help the Tigers as their own in-fighting distracted them. Besides, after the 1st half of the first game its all down hill for everyone anyhow.

for the record we only had 2 guys that were not affiliated with uf last year. one happened to be a salisbury state defenseman but winning is everything right?

Can you bring the Auburn campus police to 'keep the peace' like they did at our game a few years ago?

If anything I'd have to say that Tennessee made out the best not having to play in the 3:30 game.....That means more time to go and get ready for the night out. I really don't care either way, just lookin' forward to playing some lax and grabbin' some suds (aka....shiny little barrels of fun) afterwards.
