It's a matter of exposure, and that exposure cannot come without getting out there to St. Louis, Blaine, Texas, California, what have you. At any rate, no one has ever questioned the potency of UNH, as evidenced by UNH's regular season dominance over BC every year of the Eagles' PCLL membership.
This is exactly my point. I know UNH feels slighted, but having witnessed other teams preparing and reacting to them for years, I cannot understand how they always feel underestimated. They are a deadly program and take winning very seriously. But nationally, it is going to Blaine and playing the big programs that get you the rankings.
As for BC's loss to NE, this might be the moment they all rally around. The point where everyone refocuses and they head into playoffs guns blazing. A loss is good for a team every now and then. BC's schedule was a little soft at the end of the year and this shake up may wake up any complacent players. I am really, really excited for playoffs. I don't see any clear winner this year and I love that.
