Abel, Travis West Palm Beach FL Palm Beach Central FL Attack
Ernst, Ricky Chicago IL Lane Tech IL Midfield
Knapp, John Chicago IL St. Ignatius Prep IL Goalie
Coach Larsen seems to have a pipeline from the Windy City to the Swamp.
Sidenote, I suggest the Gators get all orange gear so they can continue to mirror Syracuse appearance.

I think if Florida kept copying Syracuse that'd be alright, they'd just have to beat FSU, GT and VATech this year to be the true Syracuse of the South.

I can't claim credit for these. Coach Ashour Peera moved from Chicago to Florida this fall. He worked with these guys up there and talked them into making the trip south.

all it usually takes is one freshman from anyplace up north to go home with his gear over xmas break and before you know it you have his friends transferring and kids from his hs enrolling. Same thing at FSU, i think paustain has a brother that is on his way in there.

Quinoy, Mike Atlanta GA Chattahoochee GA Midfield R Florida

Looks promising for the Gators, they seem to be on pace with FSU in the recruiting wars.

FYI Florida is 10-2 (USLIA) lifetime against FSU/VT/GT. Doesn't really mean anything in regard to this year though.

Of those four, only Mike Biffel will be playing this Spring.

This is pretty funny. I may be out of the loop but I wasn't aware we had "recruiting wars" in the SELC.

Did Fromby ever show up? That Gilman recruit from a few years ago?
Obviously not recruiting wars in the sense of football, but you know what I mean.

Fromby practiced for about a week then decided not to play. He would not have gotten very much pt as a freshman a opted for fraternity life over lax life.

I agree that Florida copies Syracuse in color selection. Next season they should wear hot pink and black instead of the universities traditional orange and blue.

Come on O'Donnell, you know you love the orange and blue!
