I have said for a while App St. over Liberty by a couple goals. Giving light to the great season the Mountaineers out together. But even more so the stregth and fortitude that the Liberty team showed through the end of this season. Congrats, to both teams on a great year, and to all the teams for good competition.

What a great weekend of lacrosse!
I just finished the 6 1/2 hour drive from Atlanta and I wanted to post this before I lost my train of thought! Age will do that to you.
First of all, congratulations to a gutty bunch of Davidson Wildcats on a comeback performance that was all heart! I'm proud of all of you and you earned your championship!
Secondly, there were other winners in the B Division this weekend besides Davidson. App St. is a great program with classy players! They had a great game plan for the Championship, they executed it well and they were great sportsmen after the game. You have nothing to be ashamed of and you accomplished a great deal this year. I have no doubt that you will be a fixture in the SELC for years to come.
Thirdly, I cannot say enough about the Liberty Team! They played with courage and skill that any A Division team would envy. To perform as they did after suffering through their tragic van accident, is a testimony to their coaching staff and players. You too will be heard from in the SELC.
Finally, the B championship game was among the most intense and exciting games I've ever seen in any sport! It had everything you could possibly want in a game and I don't think either team deserved to lose today. I'm proud of the way the four B teams held up their end of the weekend!
Go Cats!

Congrats to Davidson... You guys have a great team with some of the best middies ive seen. Not to forget a solid defense. Good luck in Blaine and get that title for us SELC boys.
Maybe we can get a game in the regular season next year.....
Great Job Cats....
