Wednesday in provo, UVSC hosts Utah. Although its D-A vs. D-B, it is still an interesting match up. These two teams have played each other many times, and they often times end up as pretty good games. i wasn't playing back then, but a couple of years ago, Utah upset CSU, but then had their national hopes taken by a loss to UVSC. (Utah is having another great year, desirving of nationals in my eyes, and i'm not saying that history is going to repeat itself, just looking at a big game of the past.)
UVSC played Utah earlier this year, and Utah took it to UVSC. Maybe its cause i'm playing in it, but to me, this could be a very interesting game for a number of reasons. does anyone have any thoughts on the game?

I think it will be a good game as well. Although Boise State played Utah only in the fall, we had a chance to win. Yes, it is fall ball and there could be excuses from both teams, but we did take it to Utah a bit.
I think that UVSC has a great chance of winning, but I havent seen Utah play this spring...so I could be completely wrong. Anyways, good luck to UVSC.

Those are some pretty optomistic views for UVSC. Utah is a VERY solid team. UVSC will be lucky to beat such a quality team that I think should be in the top 10 in division A, and should go to Nationals. They took Arizona to the final buzzer and lost by 1. They beat Cal Poly significantly, they are definitely a team to watch.
BSULaxer, I believe Utah beat you in the fall, I don't know about you "takin it to em"

BSUlaxer is not taking away from what the Utes have accomplished this year. I believe he is backing up what Kevin was saying, that anyone is beatable in the RMLC. We did play Utah this past fall, and we lost 7-5....not a blow out by any means, but Utah is a solid team.
I have been playing for five years in the RMLC(one year off in between) but both UVSC and Utah have respectable programs and both have grown beyond anyones dreams in those years.
I wish them both luck but I do agree that it will be a fun one to watch and I only wish I wasn't caught in boise or else I would like to see it.

Coming from a guy VERY close to the team, this game is not one Utah is taking lightly. That loss to UVSC after beating CSU was by far the most demoralizing lost of my own career, particularly because our hopes were running so high after the CSU miracle. This UVSC team has the ability to suprise, as they've proven in the past, and one can only hope Utah realizes this. Those Utah juniors definetely remember that loss. UVSC is having an incredible year, and I personally have a lot of respect for the team, having shared the field with some of their great players. I know they would hang in D-A, and hope to see them there soon.
Same goes to Boise State, they have a growing talent pool up there in Idaho, one pool we've been able to pick from a bit (mostly Bishop Kelly kids, we've had a couple Timberline guys in the past). They've been sputtering towards greatness the last few years and I'm excited to see them improve and move to D-A. There is great potential up there.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to the game. See y'all there.

It will be a good game, but Utah without a doubt will win the game, they are to solid of a team and Mase wouldnt let Utah look past them, im sure he has been working the boys to play. as long as Utah realizes it isnt just a Div B team, and that they are a good team and a team that can win if things go there way.
