The Utah Men’s Lacrosse team is pleased to announce a series of coaching changes for the 2014 season. The Utes will still be led by Head Coach Rick Kladis who has formed a dynamic staff heading into the 2014 season.
The Utes enter the summer season with a fresh look on all sides of the ball. Beginning at the top, former Juan Diego Head Coach Pat Lambert will be taking on a true assistant coach role. Lambert is coming off an 11 year stint with the Soaring Eagle including being crowned the 2012 and 2013 Utah Boys High School Division I Champions. Lambert played high school lacrosse under Dave Allen at Judge Memorial where he was team captain his Junior and Senior year, winning a state championship for the Bulldogs in 1995. Lambert went on to play college lacrosse at Colorado State University for the legendary coach Flip Naumberg. At CSU, Lambert played midfield where he won MCLA championships in 1999 and 2001. During his tenure at Juan Diego Lambert led the Soaring Eagle to a record of 127 wins and 50 losses, a 72% winning percentage and turned Juan Diego into a premier high school program.
