Stanford hosts the CAL Bears in the annual Big Game in Palo Alto. In the last years these games have been very close and hard fought, but Stanford unveils a strong offense from their midfield and go on to upset the number ninth ranked CAL Bears 15 to 9. CAL and Stanford finish the regular MCLA season with identical 4-2 conference records and as a result will meet each other in the first round of the WCLL playoffs. The Stanford Band makes a rare spring showing underlining the importance of the Big Game.
