To me, most interesting factoid from scrimmage is that in a game with 24 total goals, the game was completed in 1 hr, 55 Min. That's incredibly fast.

Officials must be in great shape.

Players must be "hair on fire" alert during ALL phases of game play - mental conditioning at end of games will be paramount.

How are the Gophers looking this year? Haven't seen them play or heard much.

New staff is installing some new systems and the team is adjusting to that. Have much more offensive talent than in past years. Playing at a faster pace but can still improve in this area. Big roster - lots of players have seen the field so far in scrimmages and vs. WMU. Might not be the same against some of the big guns on their schedule.
