I'm new to the GRLC, but excited to be able to watch the season unfold a lot closely. Shooting from the hip from D1, I like Illinois at the top to start and wish Coach Coughlin the best of luck - the conference is theirs to lose, but I think anyone in the top 6 could make a case to win it all with a successful season.
My favorite for D1 - I want to say Wisconsin can make a run to dethrone Illinois, but my gut is telling me to like Iowa to play the dark horse role win it all. Iowa should have a bulk of their 2012 team back for this year, but its going to be a tough road in 2013 with 2 home games, a long lay off i assume for spring break, and a lot of days with multiple games played...
