We are currently searching for a head coach for the newly formed UNCG Mens Club Lacrosse team. We are located in Greensboro, North Carolina. About 30 min from Winston-Salem, and an hour and a half from Raleigh and Charlotte. We have been around for two years and are growing every year. We feel as if a head coach would help out tremendously in growing the team into a strong program and bring the team to the top in the SELC. With a lot of kids coming from the north and having a couple ex-division 1 players on the team we have a lot of talent with out a lot of instruction. I know this was posted in the wrong forum, which is something i forgot to communicate to Downs.

Ive been corresponding back and forth with Downs since about March. He seems to have everything pretty organized and it can only get better. Ill likely be helping him out next season and we'd really appreciate any inquiries into the position.

Things I know for sure: It's gonna be a part-time position. Not likely paid(but I could be wrong). They have a strong team for only being 2 years old. Had 3 or 4 wins this past season, maybe more, and kept it within 4 against #12 Charlotte. They will only be going up from here.

ALSO: if you are coming down to NC for any OOC games, contact Downs as well. There are many teams in the area. DI: NC State, Wake Forest, Clemson, USC; DII: Elon, App State, High Point, Charlotte, Davidson; NCLL: Duke, UNC-Chapel Hill; all within 2-3 hours drive
