I don't think you could "thank" Dini for that. If I remember correctly, I think the number of nominations a team gets is dependent on the teams ranking. So higher ranked teams like Chapman, ASU, Sonoma, and UCSB get more nomonations.

There were several teams who did not submit any nominations before the deadline and the ballot forms were sent out.

Cal should have been better, sad to see a once dominant and proud program reduced to 2nd class status.
