UMLL SPRING MEETING

The UMLL Spring Meeting will be Saturday 10-May-2008 from 10 am-1 pm at the University of St Thomas campus. We'll meet in Room 155 of the Murray-Harrick center - same place as the fall meeting #5 on this map: http://www.stthomas.edu/campusmaps/stpaul/stpaul2D.pdf

All teams are expected to have a representative present.

Agenda items include:

Friday playoff games
Bidding the tournament to local HS
New team applications
Realignment ideas
Game web casts in 2009
Overview of 2008 budget
Review of rescheduling fees
Travel restrictions
OCC cancellations

What about adding to the agenda: having another UMLL All Star game. Or is this something that has already been talked about? I thought last years was a real success and was a great time for all involved.

Because it's been a little bit of a mess to organize, I believe the MLA took the UMLL All-Star game off the Laxtravaganza schedule.

Laxtravaganza will be Sunday, June 8th. If there's interest in getting this game played, contact Mark Erickson merickson@nscsports.org

Any updates from the spring meeting, besides the UWM joining the UMLL? Any other important updates or topics of discussion?

UMLL is looking to get ability to broadcast live games online...sounded like a great idea for national exposure as well as for families and alumni who can't travel
