I like numbers. Well, the average button. While I understand that some teams have a harder schedule than others, you can only work with who you have on the field against you...

I tried to come up with some basic averages and eventually compare them to the all conference awards. Why isn't there HM LSA Defense?

Team - record - Goals Scored - GSAverage/game - Goals Against -GAAverage/game
T R TGS GSA TGA GAA
SMU - 12 &4 - 164 - 10.25 - 128 - 8.00
UNT - 8 & 7 - 217 - 14.47 - 154 - 10.27
BU - 5 & 7 - 121 - 10.08 - 123 - 10.25
TTU - 9 & 6 - 215 - 14.33 - 154 - 10.27
TCU - 4 & 8 - 96 - 8.00 - 96 - 8.00
OU - 7 & 6 - 135 - 9.64 - 135 - 9.64
OSU - 0 & 8 - 30 - 3.75 - 166 - 20.75

T R TGS GSA TGA GAA
A&M - 14 & 3 - 228 - 13.41 - 137 - 8.05
UT - 10 & 4 - 147 - 10.50 - 100 - 7.14
TSU - 8 & 6 - 127 - 9.07 - 126 - 9.00
Rice - 4 & 3 - 58 - 8.29 - 71 - 10.14
LSU - 1 & 7 - 34 - 4.25 - 135 - 16.88

I left out Tulane due to forfeits creating unrealistic numbers...

Offense Rank - Defensive Rank
1 UNT - 1 UT
2 TTU - 2 SMU
3 A&M - 2 TCU
4 UT - 4 A&M
5 SMU - 5 TSU
6 BU - 6 OU
7 OU - 7 Rice
8 TSU - 8 BU
9 Rice - 9 UNT
10 TCU - 9 TTU
11 LSU - 11 LSU
12 OSU - 12 OSU

Compare these to the All conference awards. I think after looking at the numbers, the awards and numbers match up for the most part...

While i admire the work you put into this and the effort, i have to point this out.

You stated that in 13 games OU Scored 135 goals for an average of 9.64 and gave up 165 goals for an average of 9.64 - hmm?
