Is it correct that Evans Swann got 3rd team attack AND 2nd team midfield? Was that supposed to be Paul McCloud? Thanks and congrats to all the award winners.

Also, those are just All-America Nominations correct? The actual AA awards are voted on by the MCLA as a whole later in the season if I remember from the last couple of years

i think youre right will....also, if i remember correctly the number of all americans named depends on the number of teams that make it to nationals. i could be wrong though.

Paul McCloud

Even greatness can be wrong. It was my error, congrats Paul. Likewise, those are just our LSA All-America Nominations.

Thanks for your sympathy of hardball. Anyway, I just tally the votes, nothing else.

thats funny...i would think matt reed got his team to the playoffs since he scored the winning goal against baylor. if they lost that game they wouldnt be in the post season.

This seems like the feel good year for awards. Will James gets MVP (well deserverd), but not offensive player of the year? He must've been shot straight to MVP due to his takeaway checks on rides.
Also saying one goalie is better than the other one second (1st, 2nd team) and then having them split defensive player of the year. Why not split the 1st team nomination as well? And then we can split the 2nd, 3rd, and honorable mention so that everyone can feel good at the end of the day. If I was McCarthy I'd scream communism.

I just hope the New York Rangers will win one more game against the NJ Devils unless I'm a game behind.

I think Galvin is wishing they would have split the defensive MVP award the years that there was the "who's a better goalie debate(Mike G or Kurzweil) and they gave the award to Kurzweil...
That being said, it does seem strange to me that those awards were split this year.
