It'll be a great weekend for the Broncos - Griz match-up, with both of us coming off good OOC weekends and a lot riding on this game in terms of playoff seedings.

I'm also looking forward to seeing what Ryan has done with the Idaho program, the "Potato Cup" should be a great test this year. I think the winner of this game is the WAC regular season champ :)

Good luck also to the Huskies against a resurgent Stanford team and a tough Chico squad that we faced earlier in the year. Chico is well-coached, and had an answer for each defense we ran against them. Hopefully the Dawgs can have the same success they experienced earlier in Cali.

We are suspending the weekly preview article for the remainder of '08. Most of what we would cover is what is already being found in other threads on this site. Jason and I encourage the rest of you to post your thoughts, opinions and predictions here in these pncll link threads, as we ourselves will certainly do also.

I will do a D2 playoff preview article and Jason will do a D1 preview article in the week before the PNCLL Final Fours in Missoula.

Anybody from SOU want to elaborate on why Carter Boggess didn't play in cage for them this past weekend against WWU and CWU? Will he be back for C of I and WC and the playoffs?

With regards to Carter Boggess:
Ashland is not a town for everyone and it was not a good fit for Carter personally. He was not happy here last year and was truly un-happy here this year. That coupled w/ a family emergency led Carter to drop out of SOU.
Ashland is great if you enjoy the outdoors. If you want city life you are in the wrong spot and city life is what Carter was used to.
SOU Lacrosse is grateful to have Carter on our team for the time that we did and we wish him the best in whatever he chooses to be his future.
If he ends up at your college you are extremely lucky and have yourself an excellent keeper.
SOU dealt w/ this last season at the same time losing Jamison Whitehead after the winter term. We will be fine and are lucky to have Zach Baummann ready and able to fill in the goalie position.
We will miss you Carter!

Looks like the Willamette at WOU game will be moved to Willamette. We had some trouble with refs being able to reschedule with us so we could have it here at WOU. Too bad, we were really looking forward to hosting a game on our stadium field. It will still be played Friday April 18th at 7 pm, just on Willamette's field.

So I think Willamette officially owes WOU three straight home games now???

It gives us no pleasure to steal a home game, especially for what would have been the seniors last home game, I hope that friends and family can make it to our field and hopefully we can provide you with a proper send off to the playoffs!

It's true I do believe that makes 3...but it's ok, your field is way nicer than our club field anyway! If we don't play in the stadium, that would be our only alternative...not a good one!

Will, I don't think we've played you guys at our house since I played my first season LOL I think everyone on our team agrees tho that we'd rather play on your field than our club field any day, just as Justin said.

WOU 25
WU 6

Great crowd out for improvised senior night for WOU. Both teams really played off the energy and it was a fast paced up and down game. Great game by WOU's Blair in cage, I felt like we could have easily had several more goals if he hadn't made some impressive tough saves.

Good luck to WOU in the playoffs!
