Augsburg vs St Thomas was postponed, the snow had not melted off the UST field as of yet. A make up date has not been scheduled as of right now. Lets hope the 50 Degree weather is enough to melt it for this weekends big games...

Mankato Games this weekend have been switched and are now being played on Griggs Field at UMD - Schedule of games (tentative)

Saturday

5pm ISU v. Mankato

8pm UMD v. St. Olaf

Sunday

11 am: UMD v. ISU

1:30pm St. Olaf v. Mankato.

FYI

The Saturday April 5th Games- USt v UNC and SJU v Dayton have been moved from Minnetonka HS back to O'Shaunessy Stadium @ UST.

UST Track canceled their meet on Saturday and apparantly the dome is disassembled and sitting on the field @ Tonka due to a crane malfuntion.

Glad the fields could get figured out. Good luck to everyone this weekend. We're looking forward to hosting UWSP, Minnesota, and St. Cloud.

Isn't it somewhat ironic that, thanks to snow (and wet fields) we are forced to move the games North?

Great idea though, no one wants to recreate a situation like last spring at Iowa State and Mankato. Tough luck on the weather last year, although as a player I'll never forget running around in mud that was ankle-deep.

What is Griggs Field like,ie. playing surface, open or covered, temp?
Will games be played if it snows?

Griggs Field is the opened air (even though they should put a dome up) football stadium with the Nike Field Turf surface.

As per www.weather.com

Saturday Eve Temps
Right around 40 degrees with a 30% chance of rain/snow mix. Hopefully stays warm enough so the snow doesn't stick.

Sunday a.m. Temps

39 degrees with a 60% chance of rain/snow mix
