Rose- if my memory serves me correctly, San Diego beat Montana two different times at Nationals. Both were in the semis, 16-3 in 2005 and 8-6 in 2006. I'm interested to see the outcome of this game too, especially now that both teams are in Division 1 and the fact that they're meeting in the regular season. Should be a good one. Best of luck, Griz! And good luck to my Lutes down in Cali! Bring home some W's!

Jason and I have decided to "take the week off". The weekly preview article series will resume next week.
Best of luck to Boise State at Chico State, to Western Oregon and Pacific Lutheran at Fullerton State, and to PLU in the first "Martin Luther Bowl" game at Cal Lutheran. Feel free to discuss these games here, and please report the scores, too.
Represent the PNCLL well, fellas, and everyone have a safe trip home. I hope all the rest of the teams enjoy their Spring breaks.
Conference play resumes next weekend with crucial contests in both Division 1 and 2...

I love it!! It should be that or the Holy War, but that has been used before! I wonder what Martin Luther would say if he knew 2 team where hitting each other with metal polls in his honor! Forget the Reformation, this is Luthers finest day!!
On a serious note, HUGE week for PLU. We need to find ourselves in this trip because in about a week I know the Bearcats and Wolves and waiting for us. Good Luck to every PNCLL team this week!

BSU 4
Chico 8
BSU was up 2-1 at the half but could not finish the 3 game win streak we were looking for in California.

Probably a good thing that there are no Spring Break games up here in the Northwest this weekend. It's been snowing heavily here in Seattle for the past four hours and shows no sign of letting up. It's definitely sticking and starting to accumulate on the ground. I'm guessing things are worse in the eastern half of our conference, or will be within a few hours as this storm is coming off the Pacific and headed east...

And I sense that after some poor play to begin the season that Boise State has pulled it together and is playing much better and more competitively of late. Even a close loss at Chico State, who beat Cal, OSU and Texas earlier this season. Good job Broncos!
