TCU vs Baylor

Postby TCUCoach on Fri Mar 28, 2008 9:59 pm

Baylor 12 TCU 11 (2OT)

On a make-up game from 2/16 Baylor game to TCU Friday night.

The contest would see a close first half, followed by goal runs for each team in the third and fourth quarter.

At the end of Regulation the score was tied 11-11. Moving on to the overtime each team was able to put shots on cage and each goalie made good saves.

The score remained tied at the end of the first overtime. Moving into the second TCU was able to get possesion get a timeout and have a shot on goal that went wide. Baylor gained possesion and during an unsettled situation got the game winner to go ahead 12-11 for the victory.

There are two times of the year that stir the blood. In the fall, for the hunt, and now for lacrosse.

SMU

Postby Ken Lovic on Sat Mar 29, 2008 12:14 am

The GT program would like to extend its most heart felt wishes to David Perrin- the goalie for SMU (Westminster HS-GA). Tonight David suffered a very tragic injury to David and wish him a speedy recovery.
And to the SMU team as a whole- great job in fighting hard tonight in his honor. It was a tough situation for all involved and I wish you all the best the rest of the season both on and off the field. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Sorry to hear that something bad happened to David from SMU (not that I know him and i don't have any information on the injury).

May God be with David and his family and bring him healing.

Praying

From a few of the other games in Norman at the Second Annual Oklahoma Face-Off Classic

--Friday Afternoon
North Dakota - 14
Nebraska - 7

--Today
Tech - 27
Ok State - 1

And due to SFA's forfeit of games this weekend, both North Dakota and OU win 1-0

Tech/Nebraska is about to face-off here in an hour, and then OU/North Dakota will be playing tonight under the lights at John Crain Field. Really cool too, we're having a youth lacrosse game during halftime of OU/UND from the Edmond league north of OKC.

I'll post results later this evening

David Perrin and the SMU Lacrosse team are in the prayers of the Sooners...hope he gets better soon!
