Noma v. SFU looks to be a great game. Any chance of getting tape from that game???

So many good games this week, I don't know what to do. After such a poor showing last week, I feel like I have to redeem myself. So here are my picks.

Arizona vs Duluth at BYU 1:00pm: I had high hopes for Arizona this season, but I don't think they will be able to pull this one off. Not enough offensive firepower.

Arizona vs BYU at BYU 7:00pm: BYU is just too good for Arizona.

Chico State vs Texas at Texas - Austin 7:00pm: I hope I'm right about this one. I don't know too much about either team this year, but this game will be a good gauge as to how the LSA stands against the WCLL.

Illinois vs Arizona State at ASU 7:00pm: Illinois has a lot to prove in this game. I thought they were going to suprise a lot of teams this year, but that has yet to happen. We will see how good their defense is. Maybe they can turn some heads.

Utah vs Claremont at Claremont 3:00pm: I have seen Claremont play this year, and they have some players that can score. I think Utah will be looking ahead to their Chapman game and will slip up and lose in a close one to Claremont.

Utah vs Chapman at Chapman 7:00pm: An obvious pick. Chapman is too strong for Utah.

San Diego State vs Arizona State at ASU 7:00pm: ASU is clearly the best in their division, but will the SDSU defense be able to contain the high powered ASU offense? If they can hold ASU under 10, that will be an accomplishment. If they can hold them under 3, I think the SDSU offense might be able to score 4 goals for the win. SDSU has to come away with a win here to continue their season.

Illinois vs Arizona at Ariz 7:00pm: Illinois might have a shot here. Arizona could be looking ahead to their must win game against SDSU. But it's tough to win in Tucson.

Sonoma vs SFU at U Wash 5:00pm: People will be looking for SFU to make a come back this year. I think they are a very good team, but Sonoma has an experienced defense and at least one very good offensive player. I think this will be a low scoring game and Sonoma will come out on top.

California vs Florida at Florida 8:00pm: This is for Danny. Florida proved to be a decent team in their trip out to the West Coast. Now it is time for Florida to play some California teams on their coast.

San Diego State vs Arizona at Ariz 11:00am: 4-3...That's all I have to say about this game.

Utah vs Cal Poly at CPSLO 1:00pm: Cal Poly continues to play well. I think they will continue play at that level. Kweller has been looking good on offense and they have one very good defenseman as well. Should be enough to take down Utah.

Sonoma vs Washington at U Wash 1:00pm: I don't think Washington can handle a very good Sonoma team. But this weekend will be a good in prepping Washington for Oregon later on in the season.

Santa Clara vs Central Florida at Central Florida 7:00pm: I don't know if I buy this Central Florida thing yet. I guess we will see.

Wow, it must be spring break. Lot's of big road trips and interconference match ups. Hopefully the poll voters are paying attention.

Arizona 8 vs. Duluth 15 (I think its going to be a tough week for Arizona.)

Chico State 14 vs Texas State 5

Arizona 10 vs. BYU 15

Chico State 10 vs. Texas 9 (WCLL homer pick)

Illinois 11 vs. ASU 17

Utah 12 vs. Claremont 8

Utah 10 vs. Chapman 15

SDSU 5 vs. ASU 10

Illinois 12 vs. Arizona 9

Chico State 11 vs. Texas A&M 9 (Another WCLL homer pick.)

Sonoma State 14 vs. Simon Fraser 9 (Sonoma's D looks great.)

Cal 8 vs. Florida 13

SDSU 10 vs Arizona 6 (Could be the big win SDSU has been looking for.)

Utah 9 vs. Cal Poly 11

Sonoma State 16 vs. Washington 6

Santa Clara 10 vs. Central Florida 5 (It pains me to pick Santa Clara but its time for this Central Florida hype to stop.)

Good luck to all the WCLL teams on the road this week.

I think Oxy beat Marymount College, a different school.

Arizona has some good young talent but is no match for their opponents this week. BYU by 8 or more in tonights game. Good showing against UMD, but UMD is over rated. It appears to me that the WCLL teams are stronger than given credit for in the early polls. When the new poll comes out, I would expect the preseason rankings will finally fall by the wayside and the teams will be rated by how they have performed this year. Here is how I see it as of now: 1. Michigan 2. Chapman 3. Oregon 4. BYU 5. Sonoma 6. ASU 7. UCSB 8. UMD 9. CSU 10. Colo (?) What happened to Colo's program?

Chico State upsets #24 Texas.

Chico State 9
Texas 8

Freshman Attack Kevin Law scored the game winner with under a minute to play. A big win for the Wildcats.

Someone sent me a text message tonight that Chico won the game with 5:3 seconds left.

Good call Socal, I like the order you've got the teams. I agree 1. What happened to Colo?. 2. The West Coast needs some love! Oregon, Noma, UCSB, AZ State, Poly and SFU all could/should be in the top 10.
