Northeastern @ UCSB: The only thing that worries me about this game is how NU was embarassed on Sunday by Stanford. They have a lot to prove to the MCLA, and this game is a perfect chance to send a message. The next three games will make it or break it for NU. But I'm still picking UCSB to win by a decent margin.
Northeastern @ Chapman: Same as the UCSB game. NU defense won't be able to contain Chapman.
Santa Clara @ Stanford: So I know I said the Santa Clara v Cal game was for the last WCLL playoff spot. I change my mind. I was expecting SCU to lose and leave "The Big Game" as the determining factor for the final spot in the playoffs. But Catlaxman and Baller1 have been secretly injecting Santa Clara players with HGH. So the winner of this game makes it to the playoffs.
Northeastern @ Cal Poly: This will be a close game against a run down Northeastern. I'm picking Cal Poly by 2.
Chico State @ UC Davis: This is possibly the game to determine #2 in the North and the final playoff spot. I'm picking Davis in a landslide.
Arizona State vs. Utah @ Juan Diego: Once again, another boring Sunday. I miss football. I don't know where Juan Diego HS is, but if it's cold there, ASU might have some trouble. If it's hot there, Utah will have some trouble.

Northeastern @ UCSB: UCSB. I really hope that the Northeastern writeup talks about this game being their second time outside thus the reason why the couldn't pass and catch for the second game in a row. Such a cop-out. The game against Stanford was played in perfect weather. You are the 9th ranked team in the country. Get it together.
Northeastern @ Chapman: Chapman. Ugly.
Santa Clara @ Stanford: Santa Clara by 3.
Northeastern @ Cal Poly: Poly by 1.
Chico State @ UC Davis: Chico easily.
Arizona State vs. Utah @ Juan Diego: ASU by 5.

You're not supposed to divulge that information. Looks like we're going to have to cut you off.

Wow...a lot of people of predicting a 0-4 start for Northeastern...ouch! That would just about kill any hopes for an at-large bid huh?

If their schedule was different I would give Northeastern more of chance to go home with a win. I think UCSB and Chapman will be too tough to beat at home. Their game vs. Cal Poly might have been their second best shot after Stanford but It will be their second game in less than 24 hours at the end of a long road trip. It will be a WCLL sweep. I admire their confidence in scheduling such a challenging trip but it may come back to hurt them.

Even if they end up losing all 4 games, which may or may not happen, it will hurt them in the polls for the short run. However, if they win their league's AQ, it won't matter. In the long run, a tough slate of games like this in a short period of time can pay dividends come tournament time.

any reasons for a landslide decision...?
Because I have always liked Davis and they have always disappointed me. It's about time that they surprise me.

If this was last season I might agree, RB, but this is '08 and NOT the same weak Stanford team of the past couple seasons. The Cardinal are strong this year, I said it a few weeks ago after watching them at the Pac-10 shootout. Any team which overlooks them does so at their own peril.
Hats off to Coach Virk and SU for the big win over a ranked opponent. I hope we can schedule the SU-UW game for '09 that we couldn't fit in this year.
