It's strange, just as high school lacrosse started to pick in Pueblo - the coaching staff just let it die. No one came to the league meetings, kids stopped showing for practice, and it just faded away.
I honestly don't feel that any leaders in Pueblo even care about the team, or lacrosse for that matter, anymore.
No one returns e-mails or phone calls, no one organizes any tournament teams during the summer or fall, no home games are scheduled - some of the RMLC teams have them scheduled this season, but haven't heard from them in months....so they're kinda worried. Literally, it seems that no one is doing anything.
Summer and Fall tournaments would be perfect for a team like that - no regular commitment required, just a weekend trip here or there, and no one would even have to be students during those times - you could invite alumni, or just friends, to be on the teams and represent CSU-P.... but again, no one is doing anything.

WOW
Dave, its coach pete...I am so sad to hear that, I did think it was wierd as I have noticed Pueblo west had a team. Too bad, well, maybe it will take off again in a year or two. The weather in Ptown is too perfect for a team (minus some wind). Being in the extreme northwest of Washington state, I would LOVE to have that lacrosse weather. I will always be looking here for more info on them.
Thanks!
