GRLC Championship Seeding
AJ can correct me if I'm wrong but I'd have to assume that the league isn't ready to put out money for such a position. If that were the case then teams would have to shell out more in dues. The position would be strictly voluntary, you'd have to get nominated at the fall meeting, and most importantly... they'd have to vote to create such a position.

Some perspective to consider: If you have been involved in league administration for several years, a college sophomore heading up a collegiate student organization for the first time will have no clue (nor should they) about how the league got to this point in it's history (i.e. they won't know that their suggestion WAS tried in 2003, and it bombed).
If you are a college student, in your second or third year in the league, the person you are addressing your question to may have been asked this exact same question 137 times over the last six seasons, and may not be too enthusiastic to take time to explain it for a 38th (especially if the answer is contained in a well-prepared, broadly-distributed document).
One thought that's been discussed with a couple of leagues on the women's side is how to get info out to the broader population of the leagues' players, as some coaches and club officers seem to not get everything passed down the line that they should...which leads to speculation, rumors, etc. from the rank and file.

Here is an idea....Since Lindenwood has a death grip on the GRLC, and is built to win another 4 strait GRLC Championships...The conference should just declare Lindenwood the winner; like UMD in the UMLL. This will save teams time, money, and energy. This is just an idea though...

I've been following along as this thread has grown, and am really suprised at how no one has addressed the most important issue at hand.
probably about a hundred guys came out and played a game that they paid for, and left everything they had for one weekend on the field. there was no one who gave up, no one who quit when they were down in points.
Syneck got crushed when he scored, but stood up, and did it again. Manns pulled professional wrestling moves to win faceoffs. Somehow, Diplock turned his stick head-side-down, one handed, and still pulled off a shot. Zeus taught Black how to shoot lightning out of a lacrosse stick. Steenbergen built his resume as a stong-arm enforcer. Cormier taught the world to limbo under a longstick. Papa tried to make me write his name more than once, Sutherland earned uberpoints on faceoffs and shortstick d, and with a monster shot. Frisella's skills on GBs made me wonder if he was training to be a professional gravedigger. Both of the Dodsons rocked it all day long. Lee proved that effort and persistence can score points. Lightall had crazy moves, and a Wheaton d-man perfected the flow (you know who you are).
Colonell, Rakozcy and Jennings should be named honorary members of their respective Universities' gymnastics teams for the crazy moves they pulled off.
Last, but certainly not least, this guy had by far the coolest ride of the day: www.pbase.com/frim/image/43949830
I tried to write about it, and didn't do a single player of the weekend justice.
you all rock. why don't we just leave it at that?
