it was WSU and GU yesterday

GU 12
WSU 4

by quarter (I'm pretty sure)
GU-7
WSU-0

GU-3
WSU-3

GU-1
WSU-0

GU-1
WSU-1

The defense stepped it up after 1st quarter but dropped passes/poor shots on the doorstep as well as some costly turnovers for the Cougs made it Gonzaga's day.

Also a lighting warning with 3-4 minutes left and tons of hail kept us from a 9 goal burst ha....the team's coaches decided not to risk injuries by playing on the hail covered field so we just killed the last few minutes.

?maybe?

What started out as bit of a tense game finished as the scrimmage it was supposed to be. Fellow captain Paul Murphy and I, along with LSM Nick Donaldson, took care of reffing. Defenseman Mike Anderson scored a career high 5g 1a. All he had to do to accomplish this was play attack.

Thanks for making the trip PSU, and good luck against Central tomorrow!

Thanks for having us. I am glad the game ended up being what is was intended to be. Thank you also for having your guys ref. This was good practice for us.

Eric Anderson for one goal, and Cody Sandstrom for 2 points. Matt Bush in cage had a good game (score could have been higher), just need to start producing more on offense, and tighten up the slides on D.

SUNDAY CWU 10 PSU 6
Big thanks goes to Central for hosting us on Sunday. JC is a classy coach, and he has a squad of great guys. This was a super fun game, and JC really allowed us get a fell for our game by pulling in the reins on his guys so it wasn't an insane blow out. Hats off to CWU.

Eric Anderson for a hat trick, Dane Loraas 1, James Taylor 1, and Alex Eveans for 1 goal. Our defense really pulled it together after letting in the first three goals. Super good leadership from our freshman defender Grant Neely.

The building continues.

Cody Sandstrom??? I thought that dude was still in Eugene..... Well that's just another metro leaguer (Aloha right?) representing. Big ups to my former neighbor Matt Frutiger on WOU doing his thing at every position, and big ups to Southridge's Kevin Clark for getting the game ball in UO vs. UW. Big ups to Austin "turbo" Loranger from Glencoe stepping up and getting a goal vs. SFU after his last one got called back because of stick issues. And my biggest ups to Sunset's David Sleaseman who is the only metro leaguer on a D1 roster, I think. Way to go boys!

Cody is back in Portland now and balling with PSU. A great addition to our growing squad. We have also picked up his cousin Shay; both from Aloha.

saying Shay was raw in high school would be a mega understatement. That dude may have been the best player I played against in high school, how is he doing at PSU?
