Some notes about Wheaton @ Cornel:
First it was a fun game. Wheaton was only able to bring a 10 man squad because of a Army ROTC retreat 3 of our middies couldn't miss (you can always count on the Army to change things around on you) so we moved our long stick middie to short for most of the game (he pulled off 2 goals) and inverted our attack and middies a few times to give the middies some rest.
At the begining of the second half, Wheaton's Defense killed a 3 min penalty from a 6 3/8" (1/8" too narrow) head.
A pretty banged up Wheaton team left the field after some big hits by the Cornell defense in the second half and one injury causing hit by a Wheaton player to force a Cornell middie out of bounds. But Wheaton left with their FIRST GRLC VICTORY!
