wow!! i'm gone for a week and come back to hear our top D1 teams are dominating the competition. from a glance we have last years b nat. champ and (probably safe to say now) two top ten teams in our D1 one division. credibility building by the second. congratulations to SFU for a very successful trip, and good luck to UofO against CSU. make em' hate the green machine!!

CU goalie's scoring a goal (3rd of the game I believe) at the midfield line was interesting.

WHAT??? is this for real?? can someone who watched this game explain to me how a goalie can score on oregon? i can't really believe that.

LOL it's easy if Oregon (or any team) is running a 10-man ride and their goal is therefore left empty and unattended.

PS Gus scored an empty-net goal from his own defensive half against Colorado State during your playing days at PLU when the Rams tried an equally unsuccessful 10-man ride against the Lutes. This from Flip's journal archives, dated March 16th, 2004:

"We had a big ugly section in the game, and it was fully punctuated by me calling a for a ten man ride with people who had no clue how to do one out on the field at the time. Good call coach. The Lutes smartly heaved one into our vacated goal from about seventy yards as we chased the inevitable in slow motion and then collectively gasped as the impossible happened. Score one for PLU. The high and mighty CSU Rams had perpetuated and then punctuated a truly pathetic moment. I was not a real happy coach."

Final from Los Angeles:

Montana 22
USC 10

Sorry about the abrupt end to the webcast, the campus wireless network was kind of shady.

What I saw was great. About the last 6 or 7 minutes of the 1st quarter. Then I kept getting an error message and no picture so I gave up. I love the half field frame as opposed to on ball close ups. With my pos computer the far half of the field was a little blurry. Will there be other games on the net?

Nice win for WOU vs. Pepperdine. . .hopefully they'll have a nice showing at Claremont today. . .

I can't believe, for the record, that the Wolves had 12 goals yet zero assists yesterday. Has the offense changed with Nyc out of the picture? Just curious.
