March 2-4 Pregame/Postgame Discussion

Postby benji on Sun Mar 04, 2007 12:56 am

The A&M and Colorado game was pretty intense in the fourth quarter. Good job by the Aggs to come away with the 'w' in this game. I made some notes about the 4th quarter that I thought were interesting...

Start of 4th Quarter .... A&M leads 5-2
14:34... Colorado #24 scores from a crank-shot at the top of the box
14:13... Colorado goes man-up on a A&M slash (#20)
13:52... Colorado #7 scores from a shot from the wing
8:57..... A&M goes man-up
8:47..... A&M #24 scores from the wing in the EMO
8:07..... Colorado #36 scores on a drive to the right with a bounce shot
6:24..... A&M #46 scores unsettled from the wing
6:01..... Colorado goes man-up on a A&M #42 push from behind
5:11..... A&M goes man-up from a Colorado #28 illegal body check
1:37..... A&M takes a timeout
1:23..... Colorado regains possession and takes a timeout
-Score is now 7-5-
1:00..... A&M goalie makes a HUGE 1 on 1 save against a Colorado attackmen, with the ensuing clear elapsing the remaining time on the board.

Anyways, the 4th quarter was really exciting to watch, despite the cold and wind.

Congrats to A&M on the big win!

It was around 11:39 am when I got this text message from Tony Scazzero while I was in a church service (I put my pager on silence, but I saw a bit of light flashing):

Colorado 9

Texas 8 (OT)

Did check the RMLC forum and saw no announcement of that final score, so I'm posting it. Remember that I got this from Coach Scazzero this morning.

UT dominated the game, but just fell short where it counts.
