Thanks man. Sounds like a strong win for Whitman. Hopefully, they'll actually post a game report about it.

Dan-

The PNCLL website states that Whitman is 3-1 in division play, yet both of Whitman's losses have come to Southern Division teams. Shouldn't they be listed as undefeated in the division, or is there a special caveat that I am unaware of?

Thanks,
Emil

B Cross over games

Postby Marilyn Hoskins on Sun Apr 02, 2006 7:33 pm

Emil

All B teams have 8 games that will count towards playoffs - 5 within their own division plus 3 "cross over " games with teams from the other division. In Whitman's case those games are against Willamette, WOU & Linfield.

Hey what's it going to take for one person on each team to take responsibility for posting at least a score within 24 hours of competion of each game? I didn't realize how much I'm out of the loop now that I've moved down to Salem. I need those updates, guys. I'm going through score withdrawal.

Scores and stats must be reported no later than 72 hrs after the game. If teams fail to do so there is a fine from the league. Some teams report asap after the game others take their time.

OSU 10 - Chap 14 as reported on pncll.com

UPS 10 Albertson 9 (off the top of my head)

We had a 5-1 lead at the end of the first well onto our best game of the year, then Albertson found their footing and with 14 guys was able to get fast breaks on us, dominate the face-offs. I don't think we ever lost the lead, but it kept shrinking, and we were unable to control the ball around the crease. When Hart wasn't spinning through 3 guys to get to the cage, someone was fighting hard for ground balls on the crease batting 2 or 3 in yesterday.

If you had looked, that score was posted on the WCLL board the day before you wrote your post. Another place to scheck scores is http://www.uslmdia.org

Solid win for Whitman.
The "Dean" of coaches, as he is now referred to, is putting together a great team of young talent. You guys are a young team now, but will continue to improve if you work hard.
I know a few of you glance at this site, so I want to compliment you guys on your season, and wish you luck throughout the spring and into the playoffs.

Get those fans out on the couches this weekend...give PLU and UPS the proper "Ankeny Field Experience"
