FYI

USC vs. UCLA game Sunday 2/13 has been cancelled by UCLA due to the recent rain. The university has deemed the fields too wet to play. We're looking to reschedule the game shortly and I will post the information as soon as I know...

Serious bummer as my family and several others on our team flew in for the game :x

Too bad the game got rained out, so we won't know if your prediction would hold, but I wanted to chime in on this statement with two quotes from leaders who would know:

"The moral is to the physical as 3 is to 1" Napoleon

"Moral conviction is 5 times more important than physical strength” Gen. Patton

I'm a big proponent of conditioning, for it allows for a focused mind to overcome fatigue, but to predict a competitive outcome based on strength & conditioning is a bit mis-informed.

I'd be interested in seeing a game report on the UCSD v. Chapman game. Is there anybody who was there interested in chiming in on their observations?

Kind of off the subject, but I wanted to state it anyway. I know we talked about this last year, but is it really true that all 8 of ASU's goals were assisted? that one guy had 7 assists in a game that sounded pretty sloppy and wet. I would think that at least one of them would have been un-assisted. I mean i could be way off being that I was no where near the game, but the season is early and for guys getting all these high assist numbers is crazy. But if he really did get all 7 legit assists, then more power to him. Just wanted to throw that out there. Anyone that saw the game have any comments?

Fairly even first half, Chapman led early.UCSD fought back to lead going into half. It looked to be classic Chapman/UCSD 1 goal OT dogfight. But in the 3rd UCSD came out fired up, and never looked back. UCSD has a well balanced game. I have n't seen many other teams this year, but I think they got the motts...possibly Blainebound
