2007 SELC Alumni Tournament SET
It's funny you mentioned Buff...I was gonna make a similar statement a couple days ago.
I think Buff is still under contract with UT in regards to alumni games/teams. You'd have to check the SELC Alumni handbook but I believe it states that coaches are allowed to play for a team but if said coach has coached for more than 1 team the tie-breakers goes as follows:
2- Longest coaching tenure at one school (UT)
3- Most SELC championships won during tenure at one school (UT)
3- Played in an alumni game for a team within the past year (UT)
4- Current team (Clemson)
...looks like you're out of luck on Buff but I'll give you this recommendation....put 3 d-poles on him at all times

It's all well and good for Clemson to claim Buff, but they need to show at the tourney first.
Since that has yet to happen, he will be heavily courted by the Vols.

Let's say you're a slightly overweight carpet-bagging midwesterner and you are flying in and out of Atlanta - for the purposes of a return flight home, what time does this typically end on Sunday?

NICE!
For knowledge:
everyone gets 3 games or so Saturday (pool play or round robin). We then have a tourney on Sunday- win and move on, lose and done.
Cost- typically $25 per person to cover officials, beverages etc...
Sat Night- a GT alum will be setting up a social for us at a local establishment with free beer for about an hour. pong tables included where we will set up a SELC Tourney that evening.
I will get more info on hotels and all soon.
Games usually end around 2-3pm on Sunday

Ken or Will:
You guys know much about the Atlanta Brewing Co.? Went there last year the friday evening before the tourney for their tasting. Wasn't sure if that happens every friday or once a month.

Yeah had a good time there last year. good music, great price and you got to keep the glass, the only downfall was that temp. inside almost rivaled that of the temp. during our games.

Point of Fact:
The University of Tennessee (aka America's Team) won the SELC four times under Buff. The years being 1993-'94 and 1999-'00. No team has won more titles since the league's inception.
Sorry to correct you, Brad. I know that you spent your time in Knox Vegas in what has become known as the "lean years." Here's to a rebirth, right after they get the proper orange for the uniforms.
Much love and represent for the kids man, the f'ing kids.
Dagger!
