Creighton played a great game versus Iowa.

All the greater considering that Creighton had four subs available and Iowa had twenty plus.

Thank you to Wil and his team for making the B Division proud!

I heard Creighton had some players go down today as well? Hopefully nothing too bad.

final, official scores from iowa city, iowa.

creighton 23
cornell 0

creighton 5
iowa 4

thanks to iowa for having us this weekend. the bubble is a great facility for early season games.

scheduling two games in a row is a mistake with a squad as small as ours. with the injuries, we ended up having just enough to hold on against iowa. thanks again for a great game.

Thanks to Cornell and Creighton for coming out this saturday

Really Hard fought game by Creighton and gave Iowa a good look at what we have to improve on this season

Eventhough it wasn't the ending I would have liked to have seen it was a real positive weekend and a great way to kick off the season

Big weekend coming up for Iowa next weekend with our first two conference games against Mizzou and Nebraska ... Columbia here we come

SMU vs. Lindenwood

Postby lionslaxfan on Sun Feb 19, 2006 5:08 pm

SMU great guys, hard workers.

They played lindenwood well in the cold. Another miserable day in Missouri! Its about 10 degrees outside. Everyone on both teams were slowed down by the cold.

I cant wait for warm weather, so we can watch the Lions fly!

Beckner- you haven't seen us play in a year, so I'm not sure what your basis is for that comment this year. I guess now you'll say that MU must not be very good if we came that close. We're an extremely young team, but are ready for this season. We'll look forward to coming down to MSU in a few weeks.

Again,
KU 0-3-1-2 6
MU 1-0-2-3-1 7 in OT

Missouri beat KSU 17-2.

.

Actually the other captains and myself were talking the other night and we came to the exact opposite conclusion, that your team must be a pretty solid team this year, compared to the last time we played you guys. The basis for my comment simply came from what teams looked like last year, as thats all that most of us are working off of thus far so I meant no offense to your current team. We look forward to an exciting game against you guys! Till then....best of luck.

yep, thanks.

We'll see you guys in a few weeks.

we'll play against potential Top 25 teams when we head to Dallas in 2 weeks for the Big XII showdown. The schedule is still shifting but it looks like we'll play Texas, Texas A&M and Baylor. Missouri has Texas, A&M, and Tech. KSU's schedule is still shifting as well, but will likely have Tech, Baylor and OSU. Not sure so don't quote me yet though.

How was the weather for all you guys last weekend. It was pretty chilly over here with only 10 degrees at start time on Sat. with a windchill that was below 0 I'm sure. No problems with the cold though. Probably 6 or 7 broken sticks for both us and Missouri, but that's it.

Dan,

That's the last I was told as well, but some of the teams are still getting moved around pending outcomes of this past weekend and some teams in LSA not liking their schedules. We should all know hopefully this week what the final final final schedule is.

Just thought I would mention that Lindenwood's win yesterday marked Troy Hoods 50th college win as a coach. (this includes his time at Wash U)
