SELC A Week 11 (4/6-4/12) Discuss, Predict, Report Scores…
These guys are joking, right? A commitment to attend a dance is more important than the commitment they made to play games that have been on the schedule for months and affect not only themselves but the other teams in the league also??? To paraphrase a quote once heard on Seinfeld, " I am speechless. . .I am without speech!"

Thank you, goalscorer12, for illustrating the theorem...the NCLL is waiting with baited breath.
It doesn't matter whether the game is of importance for the playoffs. It was scheduled early enough that the formals might not have been set yet (I doubt it, though). That being said, there should have been enough time for this issue to be addressed with UCF and the game moved. This would have also involved a financial penalty from the league to reschedule the officials, but would probably been easier than all this drama. More importantly, it would have shown something that is obviously lacking...respect for the league and its members.
It doesn't really matter what anyone says or thinks, but there was a growing number of folks (myself included) who were pulling for Vandy to re-assume their former role of that of a dominant team in the SELC. This needed to be more about organization than performance, although the two are tied together after a fashion. But Vandy will never be anything but a joke as a team unless they show respect to themselves, the league, and their commitments...no matter how many games they win.
And as far as knowing your place in lacrosse, the more you fight for your limitations, the more they become yours.
Please let me know if you find anymore spelling errors. Until Sonny adds spellcheck here, I guess you can proofread all my "rants"...deal?

In all seriousness, I never understood the frat thing for lacrosse players. Isn't your team your frat? I wouldn't have even wanted to hang out with anyone else . . .
Always on point . . .

this whole thing is really between the teams involved, and if there is a complaint by UCF about late canclelation then the it is between the teams and the league. outside of that it isn't anyone elses buisness. if things where done improperly the league will take care of it. vandy enjoy the dancing , ucf sorry ur games keep getting cancled, that does stink.

ncsulacrosse, I can't agree with you. This is a late season game that could have an impact on playoffs. In addition, this is a problem that could have happened to any team on Vandy's schedule, not just UCF. It is everyone's business when this type of problem exists.

Perhaps you shouldn't have announced it as a cancellation until you had all the facts, don't you think?
