SMU - 8
Baylor - 6
SMU down 2-4 at halftime until a three goal third and three goal fourth lifted us to victory. One goal game for most of the day. Very physical and lots of penalties for both teams. Hats off to both goalies for playing an outstanding game.

I was surprised SMU vs. Baylor game is very close.
I thought SMU win by over 4 or 5 goals but not.
Both team defenses and goalies played very well.

Texas A&M beat TCU 15-6.
I looked at Texas A&M lacrosse website. They said &M
15-6.
I wonder why no one report score for Texas A&M vs. TCU
game.

Big win by Tech at #25 Texas, and a little surprising. Any comments on the game and how these teams measure up in the LSA D1 picture here in '08?

Dan,
Must have been a misread as Texas defeated Tech by a score of 10-7.
Regarding the D1 LSA race it is early and still wide open in the North as well as in the South.

Tech vs. UT:
Game started off pretty slow with a few lengthy controlled possessions coming from both teams. Score was 4-1 at halftime. Penalties were called pretty evenly for both teams, and both man-down units did a pretty good job controlling the EMO. Goaltending was excellent as well, including a few huge saves 1 on 1 coming from Tech's Ludlow and UT's Wilen. The goalie stats really don't do the two any justice.
Texas had a very productive third quarter, capitalizing on successful rides. Tech finally found some rhythm in the fourth and started pumping in goals but ran out of time. I'm sure the fourth quarter was a thriller to watch.
