I used to play on SMS and know a lot of the guys on the team. I talked to a couple of them and they told me they got beat. They said MU did a great job of riding on clears and they had trouble getting the ball out of their offesive end. Not one of them made an excuse. Please do not take Beckners' comments as representative of the whole team.

Thanks Troy. Ryan is pretty talented but was lazy at times, could have been so good if he extered himself. Joey is like 5'2" and that's being so generous. Very quick and very hard for someone who is 6'4" like myself to guard.

Kevin is correct....that was a thought from me, and not representative of our whole team. He's also correct in saying that MU gave us a lot of trouble with clearing the ball which, obviously, directly effected the rest of our game.
I'd also like to apologize to Coach Hawkins for my public criticism of him. I was still very frustrated with how we played during the game and my frustration was directed towards him when I posted following the game. Mizzou did play a solid game against us and they deserved to win that one. Sorry Coach Hawkins.

Rhodes 0 0 3 2 total - 5
Harding 3 8 5 3 total - 19
Thanks to Rhodes for coming down and playing. It was an extremely physical game and well played on both sides.

A big thanks to Coach Gilner and Creighton for hosting today, beautiful day; couldn't have asked for more. Very competative game, too bad it took the first half to get the jitters out. Good luck with the rest of your season CU.

Texas Tech's schedule shows that they were to play Illinois State today, but did both teams actually play today?

Back in September when Texas Tech approached me about coming to St. Louis, I initially invited ISU (and they accepted) to play us and Texas Tech since ISU owes us a home game this year. This was communicated to Tech. However at the GRLC fall meeting, ISU had a conflict with this weekend so I offered the game against Tech to SLU. SLU accepted, but never got in touch with Tech to confirm. So Tech thought they were playing ISU until yesterday.
After a great deal of confusion and putting out some fires, SLU and Tech are playing tomorrow at 12 noon as originally scheduled by SLU.

Marquette - 2

John, thanks for clearing up the confusion, and I will adjust the LSA schedule to reflect that change.
