UMD vs. NCSU

Postby The Molecular Man on Wed Mar 23, 2005 11:52 am

we had been rolling on all cylinders for a few weeks before the game vs. Duluth. Duluth is a very talented team...their offense is the quickest i've seen so far this year. they came to play, we didn't. simple as that.

Thanks to NCSt and Wake Forest for hosting us last week. Both games were cleanly played, with great sportsmanship on both sides.

A special thanks to NC State's Nick Holota who arranged practice time for UMD while we were in Raleigh. Nick also went the "extra mile" in making sure he had 2 back-up fields in case of inclement weather.

And finally, thanks to Buff Grubb and the WF people for arrangeing for locker room/showers for us after our game. Made the 2 hour ride home a lot more pleasant for the coaches!
