UST vs Creighton
Final from St Paul:
UST 18
Creighton- 9
Creighton came out hard and it was back and forth thru 3 quarters. UST took the lead for the the evening at 3-2 but never by more than 2 or 3 at a time thru 3 quarters. It was 10-7 (I think) at the end of the third. Then UST opened it up.
Creighton definitely has some guys that can score and IMO are very deserving of their ranking. I will be very interested to see how they do against Bethel tomorrow. Thanks to Will and his squad for making the trip up.

If that were the case then if St Cloud beats UWSP tomorrow and gives up less then 5 goals we would be in and Marquette would be out. Or the easy way would be if the UWSP games were not a factor in the tournament seeding at all. If that were the case if we beat UWSP then we would be in and Mankato would be out. I understand with tiebreakers not everyone is going to be happy, what I’m looking for is some consistency. You can’t have a team be a factor in one way and not in another. Either UWSP is a factor in the seeding or they are not, but we have to choose.
Joe,
We are counting the WSP games because the team is in good standing with the conference. They merely elected to not meet the standard for eligibility for our league championship tournament. Since we have 2 more teams than spots in the tournament, I don't see a problem with it.
It's very similar to many situations. For example, when Minnesota Basketball was banned from post season play, their games counted in the Big 10 standings and seedings. They merely carried an asterix stating that they were ineligible for post season.

If you were to do the tournament seeding it would look like this.
1.UMD 7-0
2.UofM 6-1
3.St Olaf 5-2
5 way tie for 4th seed - go to head to head goals against
4. ISU - 26 goals against
5. Mankato - 32 goals against
3 way tie for 6th seed UWSP, SCSU, and Marquette have 33 goals against. - go to total goal against in UMLL games.
6. Marquette - 76 goal against
7. SCSU - 81 goals against
8. UWSP - 91 goals against
SCSU would be out.

From Eau Claire:
UWEC - 9
NDSU - 4
Definitely was a great afternoon for lacrosse. Eau Claire came out strong and finshed the first half with a 7-0 advantage, but North Dakota State came out firing after the break.
Thanks to NDSU for making the trip to Wisconsin.

Report from Vermillion, S.D.
USD 12
Moorehad 13
#6 Mike Trelstad creates a Deja Vu for the Dragons as he found the back of the net in overtime to give the Dragons their second win in as many days. Moorhead did have some flaws as they gave up 4 goals while man up. However a win is a win as the Dragons look to travel to St. Johns tuesday for the regular season finale.

Alex,
Nebraska plays Division B in the GRLC but Division A in the MCLA
I think that's what you're getting at, right?

Quite possibly. If they are B in the GRLC, but A in the MCLA, I find it weird that they consider themselves B, and also find it funny that they play a B schedule. Wouldn't that make them only eligible for B playoffs then?...

I'm new at understanding how all the details work out. I was looking on the GRLC forum to see if anything was said there regarding this. Check this thread out - http://forums.collegelax.us/viewtopic.php?t=8031&start=15 sounds like Nebraska isn't quite sure either, as I believe they were Division A last year.
