It's great to see some Texans coming to Oregon. Hopefully, in the not too distant future, B teams will have the kind of money that it takes to make these trips possible. Good luck Texas State, you will need it, as you sure scheduled some extremely tough competition.

Texas State @ Oregon State-TSU's gotta win this one with fresh legs to start the weekend
Texas @ SMU-I dont think this is necessarily an upset, either
Fort Lewis @ Texas Tech -Tech should win this one
Saturday February 17
TCU @ SMU- another victory for the Mustangs
Texas @ North Texas-Horns take out their frustrations on UNT
Fort Lewis @ St. Edwards (Lubbock)- Ft. Lewis should take this one
Oklahoma @ Baylor- too bad these Bears dont play basketball
Texas State @ Oregon-Oregon has too much experience for TSU
UT-San Antonio @ Southwestern-no clue
Austin College @ Trinity - i only know that AC hasnt been playing that well
Sunday February 18
St. Cloud @ SMU - SMU should handle them easily
Baylor @ Southwestern- The North is looking tough this year.
Oklahoma @ Texas -OU is catching up, but not this quickly
California @ Texas State (Oregon)- THis is my prediction but ill be hoping to be wrong
Missouri State @ North Texas - just win guys. then take it in stride without the campaign
Monday February 19
St. Cloud @ North Texas- same
Missouri State @ SMU- SMU keeps chalking them up, if they have the legs.

How does defeating preseason #25 and potentially defeating preseason #22 merit a top 15 ranking? If they win, they'll be 7-0 and 5 of their victories will have been against teams that have never been or only briefly been ranked at all over the past few seasons. Teams ranked 18-30 are a very fluid group and usually show the most change throughout a season particularly between the preseason and first polls when a team's performance finally outweighs their reputation.
This seems to me to be an argument for a ranking in the 20-23 range at best.
It's great to see some other teams from the LSA having success - congratulations SMU. Perhaps this will be your year, but there's a lot of lacrosse between now and the National Tournament.
Good luck Mustangs!

SMU is definitely a tough group. They have a very stubborn defense and a deep and potentially potent offense. I believe they are definitely legit. I hope we get another shot at them this year, lol. That game against UT will be a great one.

I have seen SMU talent this year and they have very similar maybe even better talent than those teams ranked in the top 15

As someone who watched a lot of the mid-level teams at the nationals last year, I'd be hesitant to say SMU would beat them without question. I think they could hang with them, but not for certain.
