Well as far as I know, the club at Nicholls has been touch and go with the LSA, not for lack of trying it seems but it seems like they have been in and out of the LSA a couple of times over the last few years. A couple of years ago Loyola-NO petitioned to enter the LSA and scheduled games and had to drop out due to budget reason I think.

Back on topic though, I think what Karl said is probably the best first step if things do need to change. Dividing the conference into 3 divisions seems like it would make things all the more complicated. Having six teams in each division would be a nice number I think, 5 games for each division team, leaving room for OOC games or OOD(?) games in the LSA. UT is an obvious choice to move to the south due to their proximity to other south division schools. Baylor is kind of on the bubble with proximity to southern schools, but they are within easy reach of the Dallas metro area so keeping them in the north seems like the best option.

Waco is 1 1/2 hrs drive from either Fort Worth or Dallas and is also about 1 1/2 hrs drive from Austin and from College Station.

Anyway, right now in LSA, there are two Louisiana teams: LSU and Tulane.
