All-Conference Predictions

Kyle Berggren wrote:Chris, I don't have many issues with your team up there, but I would say I'm glad I'm not the only one big on Chrisman from SOU. We were very impressed with during our trip to SOU, and we don't here much about him on this board.

chrisman is solid, provided he ties his left shoe before his right when he suits up.

seriously though, with so much attention focused on whitehead this season in terms of sou, talk of returning all-conference middie chrisman has been sparse.

kyle is a quick player with expert hands who often plays four quarters of ball running both ways.

were it not for kyle, sou lacrosse would not be anywhere close to where it is today.

cheers chrisman!

Who do you think are the best middie, d-pole, attack, and goalie in the "A" division. Sorry but I get bored reading about the "B" division.

Here's who I think is deserving of first team All-conference mention from Oregon:

Attack: Nelson and Coffman

Middie: Tesar and Connors (yes, Trevor is my brother, but he is more than deserving of this)

FOGO: Turtle (Scott Miller for those who don't know)

LSM: Tolzman...although he hasn't been involved in a lot of PNCLL games due to injury, there is not a pole currently in this league who can dominate like him.

Close-D: Jolly and Vincent

Goalie: Cordova (SFU goalie provides good competition for this spot, but i pick Nate).

Yes, I know this is biased, but I am an Oregon guy. I'm sure people will have varying opinions on these choices, but I find it hard to argue that any of these players I have mentioned don't deserve a spot here.

I am going to have to agree with jeremy on these predictions........but I have not seen any of the pncll teams lately and it's hard to remember key players for the other teams. Hopefully we can get some other Pncll division "A" players to respond to this post. Obviously Jeremy's post is entirely biased as he only put down Oregon players.

To add to my list, here are some players I think are deserving of first team honors from other teams:

attack: Christians

Middie: #22 from SFU...not sure what his name is

Close-D: Carpenter. #6 from SFU was pretty good too. Maybe add a fourth guy to this list.

Goalie: SFU's guy

Yuen I think also deserves a spot, but I don't know where to put him.

I know that I've only mentioned players from Oregon, SFU and OSU. First team should be reserved for the best players, regardless of how many players from each team are mentioned.

Well, he put very good Oregon players. I can't think of a team that wouldn't benefit from having them. Should be interesting when it comes out, I'm sure all the names mentioned will be on one of the lists.

I think one of the more interesting awards this year is going to be Coach of the Year (especially since last year's winners from A & B are no longer coaching). Although I don't know too much about the A division this year, I think Joe Kerwin has done a really good job in his first year at Oregon. I'm also impressed with OSU's season. In the B division I think it gets even harder. Zach has done a good job filling in for me here, but I'm also really impressed with how Bubba has done this year at PLU without Jason, how SOU has done, Adam at WWU in his first year, and Tim Hart at Linfield for bringing that program around. Congrats to these guys and to all of the other coach's on a great year.

I can't see voters voting for anyone but Joe Kerwin. In his first year as head coach, he has devoted his entire life towards our team's success. He lives and dies for our team.

I imagine that you could say that about half of the coaches in the league.
