While I wasn't implying that Whittier would play well in a mud bowl, I was implying that if the weather was cool and wet rather than California hot, it would be easier for the first line middies to run up and down the field.

It's too bad that this game didn't happen. It would have been an interesting matchup. Does anyone know what is the chance for a rescheduling? Both teams have an open date on Sunday 2/27 and UCSB will be in LA the day before to play LMU. I think it would be good for SB to be tested prior to the 3/12 matchup with CSU and Whittier would certainly have been a test.
