First of all fighting has no place in lacrosse. I hate to hear about fights at games. I know that nobody coaches that, but I think as a group of supporters for lacrosse in MN and WI we need to really focus on discouraging this behavior.

This is going to be a fun lacrosse weekend. It will be fun to see how the standings finish up. I hope St. Olaf wins their remaining games, but they play some tough games.

Also, did you and Bice date in high school?

Well in this case it's an applicable point, especially considering S.P.'s play against div A (and B for that matter) teams this season.

I agree entirely. Emotions went unchecked for some reason during this game, and I hope it doesn't shine a bad light on either EC or SJU. Both are classy teams, and I don't want one incident leaving either team with a bad reputation.

If we were using this rule, you could also say that the U would have beat BYU last year. Since we did beat FSU and FSU beat BYU. I actually joked about that last year.

There was only one ref at the game.
I would hardly call it a fight. More like two competitors who pushed each other after the whistle. Anyone who was there will agree with me. End dicussion on the "fight"

UWEC is a ever improving team and we played in an awesome stadium tucked back in the woods.

I agree with Pinball, a scuffle would be a better term to describe it. SJU is a very classy and well coached team and we were happy to host them.

Possibly, but there's no way I'd call it "tight."

I'm gonna stick to it for now. I'm not basing my opinion on scores of this years games, I was looking back at previous matchups which have always been very solid games.

True, but after seeing Stevens Point play both last season and this season, they are but a shell of their former team. I understand that the U is on a down year, as well, but they still have a strong defense in Kestler/Onken/Rohrer that will control S.P.'s attack unit. Nevertheless, we'll have to wait and see.

Based in this season's who beat who, beat who, beat who stuff...

Minnesota 12 - Mankato 1
Mankato 15 - UWSP 9

ratio that

mankato finally levels out.

were these 3-minute unreleasable, expulsion fouls under rule 5? if so, how will the player suspensions in the next game affect the teams involved?

One middy from each team will have to sit out next game. Doesn't reallly matter who it is, so I won't say names/number.

This game is played tomorrow?

I heard through the grapevine 26-3 UMD over UWSP, 18-0 at half. Could have bad info though.
