Final Score: Fort Lewis 14, Linfield 12. We gave them too much as they were up 12-5 in the 3rd, closed it to 12-10 and then ran out of gas. Hopefully the team can put this one behind them and gear up for a battle against the Grizzlies on Sunday.

WSU:1 vs. Idaho: A billion
I applaud the Vandals for the hardwork and great ball movement on the field, but I was utterly disgusted with this game. With no official refs the game got out of hand very quickly, with cheap shots, high hits and hits from behind. I was ashamed of how both teams represented themselves. I will say some Idaho players in particular retaliated with no intention of checking the ball. It hurts me to see this game played like that.
Overall it was a very unproductive day for the Cougs and I truly am embarassed of the effort we put out on the field. Its hard to win games with out any heart.
To Idaho, best of luck with the rest of the season and Thank You for hosting us.
At this point, I have no clue what our problem is...yikes!

Great lacrosse game today in Provo. UVSC played very well, excellent game by their keeper and they capitalized on a lot of loose ball scrums in front of the cage for some tough goals. A few good things going on for Montana, but defiantly not one of our better games...but real credit to the Wolverines, they showed up to play. Some good runs by both teams, some good lead changes, great weather...this was an excellent game all around and we are defiantly hoping to meet up with these guys again. Nice work UVSC and good luck the rest of your season.

i'm hunting for the linfield and montana score as well. There have already been some interesting developments for Div B this weekend. I can only assume that Montana did not fare so well, being that they are normally all over the forum. Just an assumption.

Any details from the Chico State vs. Oregon State game? I saw the score with Chico winning 10-5. . .but I was hoping for some more details and a brief synopsis of the game. I was expecting OSU to win this game. . .a game report would be great.

Nice game by the Wildcats yesterday...didn't get to a report because we were driving back to Missoula. Good team game for the Griz and an excellent first start for Colin Connery in goal, this kid is for real. We look forward to playing Linfield again soon. Good luck to them the rest of their week in Utah.

Did Tipton travel with OSU to California? Didn't see him in the box score with Chico, that certainly takes a dimension out of the offense I would think...
