Any scores yet? Most interested int OSU/Zaga and UW/SFU. We won 18 or 19 to 2. Everyone got on the field and got some good experience.

Western Washington beat UPS today. . .something like 12-6. . .don't quote me on the score.

WWU took control early, and actually led 5 or 6-0 at halftime. . .UPS played much better in the second half, but it was too little too late.

Montana-Southern Oregon played on your field there at Whitman -- can you report the score here also please?

Please post both the Montana-WOU score as well as the WC-SOU later today. We need the host school to help us out! In the immortal words of Peter Lewicki, "C'mon you slacker hippies!"

Just before halftime, PLU up 6-4. . .hat trick already by attackman Kris Olsen of PLU. Goalie Noah Symington for Western has been fantastic, and is really keeping his team in the game at this point.

Linfield 13
Albertson 11

Great game. Albertson came from behind to take a lead in the fourth (11-10), but Linfield scored the go ahead goal with just 5 minutes to play, and added insurance with 2 to go. Cody Hart had 10 goals for Albertson...the kid is amazing to watch. This was the first time that Albertson had any subs at midfield, and it was the second line's first game of the season. Hopefully they can gel over the next three weeks before their Oregon trip.

Approaching the end of the 3rd quarter. . .PLU 9, WWU 7. PLU had a nice lead, but sparked by several fantastic saves from Noah Symington, WWU has rallied back with 3 straight goals to make this a contest again.

It appears that Albertson has quite the 1-2 punch with Cody Hart at attack and Blake Gaudet in the goal. . .We all know how good Gaudet is, but with some offensive firepower from Hart it looks like Albertson, who was winless in 2005, will make a serious run at a playoff berth in 2006. It's great to see teams like Western Oregon and Albertson playing so well in only their second year in the league. . .
