yeah i was wondering where my homie was at in the poll. Towsend had a huge weekend, although it was against Idaho and CWU. He put in 5 goals agaisnt a good div A team in Gonzaga. I dont want to say too much but I think he's a first team all-star and will be near the top of the stat sheet all year.

Correction to my correction duly noted. I thought they had played 5 games, not six. . .

In response to the poll question, I think the answer is definitely "OTHER" - but looking at the schedule, I think it will be Linfield's Taylor Brennan that wins the points per game title at the end of the season. Having seen Brennan play yesterday, the kid is an excellent finisher. . .and honestly, Linfield has a much easier schedule this season than Montana. It may be close, but I think Brennan will end up winning it.

'Other' will win
Taylor will probably keep up his pace and lead the league.
I've played with both Sadler and Kearsley in tourneys and they're amazing. Kearsley started playing his freshman year at Linfield and was a quick study - to say the least. Last year at the PNLA tournament I saw him take a Marin defender from X and cruise left on him and have his shot going as he cleared the pipe. The goalie barely saw it coming and Jon scored.
Sadler has a better background. He was able to play in high school and be an All-American. Similarily I played with Ben at Victoria in 2002 and watched him beat A league defenders from the Seattle Lacrosse Club and get goals when no one else on my team was able to get stuff going. If Whitman would just report all their scores and stats we'd know where Ben actually sits in the scoring average.
Both Ben and Jon are able to play at a level beyond the B league and are special players. But, again, neither of them will win the scoring title and Pennsylvania boy Taylor 'Crazy Cradling' Brennan will run away with it.

yeah, if you notice that Linfield has cupcakes across their schedule, ample time to pad the stat sheet.

I remember giving Jon his first stick his freshman year. Learned nearly everything on the first day. And he was freakishly fast when he joined. Who would of known that you can recruit a guy who has never played before and he can turn out that good. Simply amazing.
