PLU 17 Fullerton 13 I think was the final score. We were completely flat for the first half. It was a strong offensive showing for the Titans who were looking for redemption after the WOU game the night before, but we put together a strong fourth quarter and pulled out the W in the end. Well reffed game, letting both teams play with only 5 penalties called the entire game (4 on PLU, 1 on CSU-F).

great job lutes!! i am excited to hear not only a win but the offense finally starting to get it together. although league play has proven tough it just goes to show how strong our division is. WOU, who is considered one of the frontrunners puts up a convincing win and the lutes, who are in the lower half of the conference this year also produce a great win over a wcll opponent. keep it up guys....show the pncll well...oh!! and be happy your in socal and not washington this weekend, i would much rather be in 80 degree weather than the FREAKIN SNOW!!!

T-Chuck, how many goals did you have? & no I don't think it's a good thing you guys are getting better at the end of the season. We play in a few short weeks, I should have scheduled that game earlier!

pfft, not really a convincing victory....
then was it equally un-convincing when #7 Ft. Lewis beat them by the same margin at 20-5?
The true test of a player's character is not how he wins, but how he loses.

hmm....
Oregon State 10 - 9 San Diego
Boise State 7 - 6 San Diego
Montana 11 - 10 San Diego
I sense a trend
this makes the BSU montana match up look very intriguing.

As Dan sorta said earlier, the Boise State program is getting into its grove about now. It is later than we would have liked it but it feels as though we have arrived. We plan on keeping this momentum rolling into playoffs and given the chance beyond that as well.
Each player on our team knows their roll by now and knows what they need to do as an individual in order to make the team better as a whole. The offense is scoring most of their goals on assists (almost unheard of at Boise State) and the Defense has been playing on CLOUD NINE!
The best part in my eyes is that we are doing it with 16 guys, all of the teams that we have played recently have upwards of 30 players but on the field it is our 10 players vs their 10 players.

Having been in the same situation as Boise State, I know what the players are going through, and its strong thing to have during this time of the season. its all who wants it more on the field; regardless of the player count. Congrats to Boise State for their recent success and to their play-off push.

7 against CSF Kyle, mostly due to great team play and some fantastic passing from all of our boys. All the rookies are starting to step up and are making some big contributions. Hopefully we'll keep improving and be ready for the big rivalry game in two weeks.
We won 11-8 at CLU Dave. Very physical game on a hot day, leaving Bubba's head looking like a giant tomato. Good showing considering we were missing two starting middies and Johnny T on defense.
