WCLL Week 9 (3/23 - 3/29): Schedule, Thoughts, & Scores

The first quarter saw plenty of action, as Chapman had numerous opportunities to open up the scoring. After several shots on goal, Chapman finally capitalized scoring the only goal of the quarter. In the second, both offenses came alive,with each team scoring three goals in the quarter. Arizona made great adjustments in the third quarter, controlling the ball on the offensive end, and ultimately talling two goals to take a 5-4 lead into the final quarter. Chapman scored the first goal in the 4th, making the score 5-5. Arizona scored two consecutive goals, yet Chapman responded with a huge goal from sophomore midfielder Ryan French. In the final minutes, Chapman had several quality opportunities to send the game into overtime, however, Arizona's goaltender came up with 3 key saves, to help Arizona avoid the upset.
